Ашот является основателем туристического центра Armhiking (2013) и руководителем проекта Закавказской тропы в Армении. Он начал свою туристическую карьеру в 2009 году, а теперь работает независимым горным гидом и строителем троп в замечательной неправительственной организации Trails For Change.
