The trail is very steep in certain places. It is also confusing as there are multiple trails crossing each other. Be also aware of shepherd dogs on the trail.

My favourite thing about this trail: you can wander and frolic in the meadow, and still never get lost: you’ll always enjoy gorgeous views on the city of Goris.

This hike is a great one for the morning or afternoon. I took it counter clockwise and if you wanna do a loop, I recommend it this way (steep part first). Marks at the beginning (arrows on formations) are sometimes little confusing, but if you follow the GPS in the app and you stay on a trail (on a proper one, not on those gametrails made by cows), you are fine. But do not try after hiking above the graveyard to go around the hill to the right (you will NOT get to the top, i tried). After reaching the ridge it is piece of cake. I highly recommend to hike to the summit of the mountain (Lastikhut), the view is amazing and worth it! But do not go straight up, there is a “road” and it is much easier this way. The rest of the loop is easy, just follow the trail, you cannot miss it, later on you’ll go next to a fence, then near an edge and then just down to the graveyard. If you wanna just hike up without the steep part, I recommend to go clockwise, reach the ridge, then hike up the summit and descent the same way. Enjoy!

Very nice trail. Continue on the trail to the higher peak at the beginning of the return loop and it is a nice view. Then continue to the road to the valley and then back to Goris. A bit longer and more difficult,but it is beautiful to view Goris from the height.
