Named after the nearby Areguni mountain range, Areguni Guest House is a typical Dilijani home run by Hermine, who is a Dilijan local. Located in the old Molokan neighborhood known locally as Papanino, Hermine and her husband love to share Dilijan’s history with their guests and direct travelers to where they need to go around Armenia. Don’t be surprised if they offer you homemade juices and vodka (called oghi) while you stay with them. During the warm spring and summer months, you can take informal woodworking classes at the workshop out front, where much of the home’s furniture was made. Or, you can simply enjoy the outdoor patio and garden while admiring the surrounding mountain range. Areguni can accommodate up to 8 guests.
