WWII Memorial & Statue of Vahagn
The Dzoragyugh-Vahagni trail spans 7.8 kilometers, beginning in the center of Dzoragyugh and moving through fields and pastures towards the mountains. Shortly after leaving Dzoragyugh, the path passes a World War II monument and, after about half a kilometer, enters a pine grove with a rest pavilion and a water spring.

Once you exit Dzoragyugh, the trail broadens and is supported by a stone wall. The hike features gentle ups and downs, descending around 200 meters in elevation as it follows the slopes of Mount Bokhut. Beyond the pine grove, the trail mostly crosses open areas, with a brief stretch through sparse woods near a stream.

The valley offers stunning views of the surrounding rocky gorges and a great view of Vahagni village. The trail ends in the center of Vahagni, where you can see the statue of Vahagn Vishapakagh (Vahagn the Dragonslayer). Two grocery stores and a drinking fountain are located in this spot, next to the trailhead. From here, you can either continue hiking towards Yeghegnut or take the main road down to the highway.

Water sources/information
500 meters away from Dzoragyugh towards Vahagni, a water spring is located next to a picnic pavilion. Another water fountain is located in the center of Vahagni – next to the grocery stores and the trailhead.
