The trail from Karinj to Marts spans 5.6 kilometers and serves as a continuation of the route coming from Dsegh. This easy hike offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, as well as panoramic vistas of the Karinj and Marts villages from a bird's-eye perspective. The trail is not particularly challenging, with a relative elevation change of 150-200 meters. 

The trail begins at the small square in Karinj, where it ascends steeply, passing by the village's medieval cemetery, before leading through open fields and forests. The trail then slopes gently downwards as it heads towards the Martsaget River, eventually reaching a 12th-13th century bridge that connects the two villages. 

At the 4-kilometer mark, you'll be greeted with a picturesque view of Marts village. After passing through sparse forests, the trail opens up once again into fields, running parallel to a dirt-road as it descends into the village center. In Marts, there is a designated campsite available. From here, you can hike up the nearby mountain in search of the Marts Holy Savior Cross, or continue on to the neighboring village of Lorut.
